MASON, Edgar - Putnam

Mapleton, Ill July 30 – Edgar E. Mason, 71 years old who was born and reared near Fillmore, Putnam County, Indiana died at his home here yesterday. He had been engaged in general farming in Iowa and Illinois since early manhood and had been in the dairy business 22 years. In 1897 he married Minnie L. Rollings, who survives him.  Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Lois Smith who lives near her parents and Mrs. Doyle Zaring of Indianapolis; a son, Edgar R. Mason of Glasford, Ill; two brothers, Oran O. Mason of Indianapolis and Orsa G. Mason of Los Angeles, Cal and two sisters, Miss Tona Mason of Indianapolis and Mrs. JM Viemont of Washington Funeral services will be held in the Christian Church at Pekin, Ill at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning. Burial will be at Tremont, Ill.
